"Frank Shoots Every Member of the Gang" is the second episode in the sixteenth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the 164th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
After Frank shoots Dennis and Dee, they resolve to take Frank's gun away. Mac and Charlie go on a road trip with their moms to get their inheritances -- for Mac, it's letters written by his grandfather which have fallen into his Uncle Donald's hands, while for Charlie, it's a jar of teeth that is now in the hands of his sisters, Bunny and Candy.

Continuity[]
- Mac's comment about how he forgot that Charlie had sisters is a meta-nod to how some fans and crew-members may have forgotten Charlie mentioning his sisters in the Season 1 episode "Charlie Got Molested".
- This episode establishes that Luther and Donald were children during World War II. This contradicts a news report from "Mac Kills His Dad" that put Luther at 59 years old. That episode most likely took place in 2015, the same year it had aired (implying that he was born in 1956, long after the war had ended).
- Bunny and Candy refer to Charlie as "Dirtgrub", his nickname in high school.[7x12]
- Mrs. Mac has a frequent need to "smash."[12x3]
- Charlie is able to pull his teeth out without resistance or pain. Mac comments that Charlie has "got to stop doing that", referencing the previous time he'd pulled out his teeth while faking his death.[4x5]
- Though he is not seen, Frank visits Duncan under the bridge.
- Donald McDonald is played by Gregory Scott Cummins, who also plays Luther McDonald.
- Mac comments that Charlie turned 40 "a long time ago". Charlie Day was 47 years old when this episode premiered.
