Mac and Dee are both members of the Gang.
Their friendship is based mostly on who they know in common. Mac is best friends with Dee's twin, Dennis.
Mac and Dee are arguably the most volatile pairing. They tend to share a repulsion and disgust for one another. Their mutual contempt for one another assures that nearly any interaction between the two will result in the trading of insults and belittling. Interestingly, both Mac and Dee harbor deep insecurity and inner self-loathing, and both are the most prone to coming up with elaborate and overly complicated schemes.
