Personality[]
Rex is a very sensitive and vulnerable person. Dee forces him to have sex with her by berating him using names like "cardio-jerk" or "workout turkey". [6x12]
Involvement[]
Rex is introduced to the gang as a model competing to be on a Paddy's Pub billboard, up against Dennis Reynolds and several other contestants. He is more than willing to do anything Frank tells him to, including eating a bowl of live cockroaches, but ultimately does not get his place on the billboard, as Frank has secretly already had it put up with an image of himself with two busty women.[4x3]
Rex later appears at the house party Mac McDonald and Charlie Kelly throw for the potential fathers of Dee Reynolds's baby. [6x12]
In "The Gang Saves the Day", he appears Mac's fantasy as one of the muscular men in his heaven, and is greeted by the recently deceased Mac.
Rex appears as "The Master" of the cult in "Ass Kickers United: Mac and Charlie Join a Cult".
Mac invites Rex to join their group in going to see the Big Game, and it is revealed that he has gained a large amount of weight and fallen into the Invigaron berries pyramid scheme.
