"The Gang Goes Bowling" is the seventh episode in the sixteenth season of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and the 169th episode overall.
Synopsis[]
The guys crash Dee's bowling league night and compete in a Battle of the Sexes at a bowling alley owned by the McPoyles. Dee, The Waitress, Artemis, and Gail the Snail versus Dennis, Mac, Charlie, and Frank in a classic match to prove once and for all who has the upper hand in sports.

- Several elements of the McPoyle's bowling are references to the film The Big Lebowski, such as the ball polishing scene and Ryan licking his bowling ball in the flashback.
- The regular "barflies" often seen in the background of the bar have a rare moment of focus when Dennis asks them if they tipped Dee and they all scoff at the notion.
