Walter "Wally" Schmidt was a neighbor of Dennis and Mac when they moved to the suburbs. He is not related to Mike Schmidt.

In Mac & Dennis Move to the Suburbs, he introduced himself to Mac and Dennis but since they were from the city they were very perplexed when he started talking to them. He would also annoy Dennis when he would try to make conversation when he kept on saying "Hot one today, huh?".
Dennis later ends up hallucinating and feels enraged to scream his mind towards Wally about hating the suburbs and disliking his commentary about the weather, which then Mac asks "dude who are you talking to?"
